So should I choose William or Christian for a baby name?

I'm down to two names and I like both of them. I just wanted to see what people would choose and why? Thanks for your help. My last name is Godinez.

I would say, wait until you see the baby, and see if he is more a Christian or a William





I would pick Christian, I like it much better than William, but you like both so it's not that easy for you






Reply:William definitely. Its a great name and Will and Liam are both good nicknames, should he or you choose to use one. Chris is kinda boring and very common.





I also don't think you should label your child with a name like Christian, even if you are Christian.
Reply:William. If you go with Christian, he'll grow up with a complex feeling like he needs to be religious! I thought about the same name, Christian, and that's what I decided.
Reply:I've never liked William, due to nicknames like WiIly or Bill, so I'm going to say Christian. Christian Godinez is very nice :)

William is TOO classic. And there are SO many.

It's still a common name but i think it is more unusual than william.
